Senior Ligitation Legal Counsel

Litigation Case Handling (including civil litigation, criminal litigation, consumer litigation, administrative litigation, arbitration, government investigations, administrative penalties, etc.)

1. Handling of Major Cases Coordinate and mobilize internal and external legal resources within the company, and be responsible for legal analysis, litigation strategy formulation, trial responses, dispute resolution negotiations, and evidence collection for major cases in Brazil. The individual is accountable for the outcome of the case.
2. Management of General Cases Establish standardized litigation management processes and work guidelines to efficiently manage routine litigation cases in Brazil. Monitor and evaluate the daily service quality of external law firms, reasonably control litigation costs and legal risks, and ensure that all types of routine disputes are handled in a timely, compliant, cost-effective, and efficient manner.
3. Response to Government Investigations and Administrative Penalties As the lead person responsible for the company's response to government investigations and administrative penalty procedures in Brazil, coordinate and manage related response efforts. Establish a risk warning and crisis mitigation mechanism to minimize legal, financial, and reputational risks to the greatest extent possible.
4. Case Review and Management Optimization Regularly conduct reviews and analyses of historical litigation and dispute cases to identify systemic risk points in business processes and management systems. Provide risk prevention recommendations and optimization solutions to management and business departments to reduce future legal risk exposure.
5. Provision for Litigation and Litigation Security Deposits Be responsible for financial risk management related to litigation cases in Brazil, including the assessment of case risk exposure and the provision for accounting reserves. Coordinate the entire process of applying for, paying, and recovering judicial security deposits, court deposits, and letters of guarantees.
6. Litigation Authorization Management In accordance with the company's authorization management responsibilities, prepare authorization letters, archive and maintain authorization documents, and manage litigation-related signing and authorization matters.

Operation and Implementation of the Litigation Management System

1. IT System Development and Implementation Develop and continuously optimize Brazil's litigation management system and full-process management mechanism. Collaborate with the headquarters to promote the implementation of the global case management system in Brazil, achieving traceability, visibility, controllability, and standardized management throughout the case lifecycle.
2. Daily Operations and Supervision Be responsible for the daily operations, dynamic tracking, and supervision of all legal cases in Brazil, proactively identifying key risk issues to ensure comprehensive risk coverage. Additionally, track case progress and manage key time nodes to ensure cases are advanced in an orderly and efficient manner.
3. Development of Systems, Processes, and Guidelines Lead the establishment and continuous improvement of Brazil's litigation management system, standardized work processes, and operational guidelines to ensure the compliance and operational efficiency of legal affairs management.

Legal Service Procurement Management

1. Budget Management and Supplier Access Based on the overall litigation situation in Brazil and the company's policy requirements, develop and apply for quarterly and annual legal service budgets. Be responsible for the development, initial selection, and compliance management of legal service providers (including law firms, accounting firms, valuation agencies, and expert witnesses).
2. Full-Process Management of Legal Procurement Be responsible for the full-process management of legal service procurement, including the selection of law firms, matching with suppliers, commercial negotiations, contract drafting, service acceptance, and payment. Conduct regular performance evaluations of suppliers.
