Based in São Paulo and reporting to the Plant Controller, the Senior Cost Controlling Specialist will serve as the subject matter expert for cost accounting, product costing, inventory valuation, and SAP CO-PC within a multinational manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate product costing, landed cost calculations, monthly cost closing activities, inventory reconciliations, and financial analyses.

Descrição

  • Lead monthly cost accounting and product costing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards.
  • Manage standard costing, cost roll-ups, BOM validation, and inventory valuation processes within SAP.
  • Analyze manufacturing variances, material consumption, labor, and overhead costs, providing actionable insights to support business decisions.
  • Coordinate monthly inventory closing activities, including reconciliations, provisions, cycle counts, and physical inventory reviews.
  • Prepare financial analyses related to product profitability, cost optimization initiatives, and operational performance.
  • Monitor and validate landed costs associated with imports, logistics, duties, and supply chain activities.
  • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Tax, and Finance teams to improve cost visibility and support strategic initiatives.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes related to manufacturing and operational costs.
  • Ensure the integrity of cost accounting data and continuously improve processes, controls, and reporting capabilities.
  • Act as the key user for SAP CO-PC and Material Ledger, supporting system enhancements and troubleshooting activities.
  • Develop ad hoc financial models, simulations, and business cases to support decision-making and investment opportunities.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to leadership on cost trends, risks, opportunities, and efficiency improvements.



Perfil desejável

  • Extensive experience in Cost Accounting, Product Costing, and Inventory Valuation within manufacturing environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP CO-PC and Material Ledger.
  • Strong understanding of landed cost calculations, import processes, and inventory accounting standards (IAS 2 / CPC 16).
  • Advanced/Fluent English.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
