The successful candidate will ensure that HSE remains integral to all aspects of well design and operations. Additionally ensures all execution remains in compliance with local legislation and Company' Policies and Standards.

Job Functions

* Ensures HSE is considered in all elements for the design and execution. Actively manages all HSE incidents.
* Work with the Wells Manager and wells department to ensure the requirements of the Company' Energy Wells Management System are fully met.
* Actively works with the engineering department to ensure jobs are executed in a safe and controlled manner.
* Owns the delivery of the assigned Wells campaign including front end design, project execution planning, resourcing, contracting, detailed design, execution and close out.
* Manage the key wells work streams of reactivation, mobilization, intervention, workovers, and platform interfaces in compliance with the Wells Management System.
* Owns the department's standard operating practices, risk assessments, and well work procedures.
* Manage the key interfaces to ensure that platform, logistics and infrastructure scope and delivery fits within the planned well delivery schedule
* In conjunction with the Wells Manager, develop and maintain a manpower plan to ensure sufficient skilled personnel are resourced applied at the appropriate time to deliver the campaign.
* Ensure contract and procurement resources deliver contracts and long leads in a timely manner.
* Ensure scopes of work are correct and appropriate for the campaign.
* Responsible for the integrity of procedural decision-making including management of change.
* Manage and technically review the engineering and procedures developed by the discipline engineers.
* Creates a work environment that recognizes and focuses on collaboration, inclusion & diversity of ideas, positive reinforcement, and safe operations.
* Assists in the documentation and implementation of the organization's Best Practices and Lessons Learned.
* Works closely with the Supply Chain team members to secure technically competent and cost-effective equipment and services for project execution.
* Encourages the team to seek innovative approaches to problem-solving and discuss new technologies.
* Identifies performance improvement initiatives and executes them in the performance cycle.
* Provide the day to day operational and technical expertise across all operations including the design, execution, and post job analysis as needed.
* Plans for future wells and ensures required materials and services are available in country and allocated as required.
* Initiates and manages specialist projects as required, for optimization and/or reduction in well cost.
* Work with Service Providers to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds requirements.
* Provide oversight to the execution team for the delivery of the campaign.
* Lead contractor performance reviews and feedback necessary improvement opportunities.
* Mentor and develop staff.

Perfil desejável

Qualifications & Experience:
* A University degree in an engineering discipline, preferable but not essential.
* Fluent communicating and writing in English
* Valid IWCF (level 4) & TBOSIET or equivalent certification.
* Minimum of 15 years' experience as a with operating companies with 8 years´ as a Superintendent or Wells Team Leader
* Experience as a Well Site Supervisor is preferred
* Experience of progressing projects through design, into execution.
* Critical to have previously managed rig and previous start ups / reactivations.
* Experience in offshore well operations
* Experience managing completions workovers and interventions (CW&I) is required and advantageous.
* Experience in managing operations in Brazil is advantageous.
* Track record in procurement and management process for wells equipment and services.

Computer Skills: Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook required. Experience in well work activity tracking software (Well View) as well as other project software (SAP, scheduling tools, cost & invoice controls).

Language Skills: Fluent English and Portuguese
