We are supporting one of the biggest multinational energy companies in a regional expansion process to hire a Head of Business Development for Brazilian Operation.

- Leading the project development team for financial evaluation, legal and tax structuring, internal approval documentation and financial closing of solar project investments across Brazil;
- Lead and oversee commercial due diligence on the Projects, liaising with external consultants where/ if necessary;
- Leading/ overseeing commercial negotiations;
- Lead in preparation of presentation materials for necessary Financial Institution's meetings related to the financing structures;
- Manage and develop appropriate non-recourse funding, hedging and security structures, which meets Financial Institutions security, legal and credit requirements and is satisfactory to company's policies having regard to current contractual arrangements, taxation obligations and consents required;
- Consolidate and summarize where necessary, relevant Project information for review by Financial Institutions to facilitate the credit approval processes;
- Work with suppliers and the relevant international and regional financial Institutions to maximize the financing amounts and minimize associated financing costs;
- Obtain Financing Institutions Board/credit approvals in support of the financing structures;
- Accountability for overall pipeline (greenfield + acquisitions + co-development) / targets in Brazil; and,
- Effective reporting to headquarters on weekly/quarterly basis.
