Descrição

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements and accounting records, in accordance with corporate policies, reporting timelines, and Brazilian statutory requirements.
  • Manage the full spectrum of accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, balance sheet accounts, general ledger, and cash flow management.
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes and prepare accurate and timely financial reports and analyses.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and municipal tax obligations (direct and indirect taxes).
  • Manage tax incentives including PPB (Processo Produtivo Básico) and identify tax optimization opportunities while ensuring compliance with Brazilian tax regulations.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, tax consultants, and governmental authorities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare and manage OPEX budgets.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement improvements in internal financial and accounting processes.
  • Act as a business partner, providing finance-related insights and guidance to various units.
  • Align local financial reporting with global consolidation requirements, ensuring consistency across regions.

Perfil desejável



The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar.
  • 7-10 years of experience in finance and tax management within a manufacturing environment.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an international setting.
  • Strong knowledge of direct and indirect taxes in Brazil.
  • Advanced analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure, and within tight deadlines.
  • Fluent English proficiency.
  • Previous experience in audit/accounting firms is an advantage.
